The 4th edition of Battery Innovation Days is set to take place on November 26-27, 2024, in Barcelona, Spain, with an online option for remote attendees. This prominent event brings together leading players in the battery field to foster collaboration, share insights, and drive forward-thinking advancements in battery technology. Organized by key European Research and Innovation initiatives—including Batteries Europe, Battery 2030+, and the Batteries European Partnership Association—Battery Innovation Days will unite experts from diverse backgrounds to explore the future of battery technology. This year’s hybrid format offers an inclusive experience, hosted by ACCIÓ, the Catalonia Agency for Business Competitiveness, and supported by the Government of Catalonia.

Participants will have the opportunity to connect with industry peers, gain insights into cutting-edge trends and innovations in the battery sector, and witness the awarding of the prestigious Battery Young Researcher Award. The event will also showcase an array of exhibitor booths, where companies and research centers will present their latest contributions to the battery market, highlighting advancements in technology, materials, and sustainable practices.

The NEMO project will be represented in this event by CSEM. As a renowned innovation and research partner within NEMO, CSEM plays a key role in advancing battery technology through its dedicated Battery Innovation Hub. CSEM’s work includes pioneering solutions for both coin cells and pouch cells, utilizing advanced testing and scaling processes to ensure high standards of performance and reliability. The CSEM team also leads the way in developing state-of-the-art sensing solutions and battery management systems (BMS) that contribute to more accurate State-of-Charge (SoX) estimations and overall system efficiency. Our project partenr will attend the Battery Innovation Days to share insights from NEMO.
