Project NEMO is participating in the #EUSustainableBatteries social media campaign, launched by ICONS on the occasion of Battery Innovation Days 2024.

Battery Innovation Days, scheduled for November 26-27 in Barcelona and online, is Europe’s premier event for battery research, bringing together researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss innovations in battery technology, manufacturing, and recycling.

The #EUSustainableBatteries campaign aims to highlight that investment in research is essential for developing batteries that are more efficient, longer-lasting, and ultimately more sustainable, thereby reducing the demand for raw materials and supporting Europe’s climate goals.

Through this social media campaign, we aim to spotlight the essential role of EU-funded projects like NEMO in driving this change. In this context, NEMO is enhancing battery lifespan—crucial for achieving the EU’s Green Deal targets.

For this occasion, Project Coordinator Md Sazzad Hosen (VUB-MOBI) has shared a video statement, which will be featured on our social media channels, highlighting NEMO’s commitment to advancing sustainability in battery technology.
