On 7–8 May 2026, the BATTERY 2030+ community will gather in Turin for its 6th Annual Conference, a two-day event dedicated to advancing next-generation battery research and innovation. A special networking moment for young scientists will take place on 6 May, ahead of the main programme.
Hosted at Politecnico di Torino, the conference will feature keynote speeches, industry presentations, young scientists’ sessions, poster pitches, and multiple networking opportunities designed to strengthen collaboration across the European battery ecosystem.
Participants are also invited to contribute to the scientific programme by submitting an abstract. Contributions are encouraged on topics such as future battery chemistries, smart functionalities, accelerated materials discovery, advanced modelling and characterisation, as well as innovative manufacturing and recycling processes. The deadline to submit an abstract is March 9th. Detailed guidelines and the submission template are available here.
The programme also includes a welcome cocktail for young researchers, a networking dinner (both included in the conference ticket), and optional site visits to Comau and Stellantis (advance registration required, limited places).
Registrations open on 9 March 2026.
