Experts from research, industry and policy will gather in Brussels and online on 16 June for ENERGETIC Final Event to explore cutting-edge developments in battery management systems.
NEMO invites you to join the ENERGETIC Final Event, taking place on 16 June in Brussels and online. This event will present the project’s main achievements and foster discussion on the future of smart battery management systems and digital energy solutions in Europe.
Funded under the EU Horizon Europe programme, ENERGETIC develops next-generation Battery Management Systems (BMS) to optimise battery use in both transport (first life) and stationary storage (second life). The project combines advanced sensing technologies, AI models, and edge and cloud computing to monitor battery performance and predict remaining useful life through digital twin approaches, enabling safer and more efficient operations.
ENERGETIC is part of the BMS Alliance, a cluster that brings together four Horizon Europe projects, including NEMO, working to exchange knowledge and maximise impact in physics- and data-based battery management for optimised battery utilisation. The final event will gather researchers, industry representatives and policymakers for a full day of presentations and exchange.
The programme will showcase ENERGETIC’s key results, including innovations in advanced battery monitoring, digital twins and real-world applications of smart BMS, while opening the discussion on future developments and their role in Europe’s energy transition.
The event will also feature the participation of VUB, MD Sazzad Hosen and Maitane Berecibar contributing to the discussions and reinforcing collaboration across the cluster.
